TRANSPORTATION
We won’t be traveling much during the weekend, but you will need to make your way to Sweden, and more specifically – Öland. The easiest way is to fly to Stockholm Arlanda Airport and then take a flight to Kalmar Airport. You can also fly via Copenhagen Airport. If you prefer not to rent a car, we can assist with transportation from there.
By car
Driving is by far the easiest and fastest way to get to the wedding. You cross the Öland Bridge from Kalmar and follow route 136 north, a route that offers beautiful views and Öland's beautiful landscape. It only takes about 20 minutes from the bridge to Halltorps Gästgiveri and Halltorps Hage Gård. Free parking is available on site.
By train/bus
If you prefer public transport, you can take the train or bus to Kalmar. From there it is easiest to take a bus at Kalmar Central Station over to Öland. Take the 101 towards Köpingsvik Church and get off at Halltorps Gård. The journey takes about 35 minutes. If you don't want to take the bus all the way to Öland, Kalmar of course offers taxis!
By plane
För er som reser längre bortifrån kan flyg till Kalmar vara ett alternativt. Från flygplatsen tar ni buss 402 till Kalmar Centralstation, därefter byter ni till buss 101 mot Köpingsvik Kyrka och hoppar av vid Halltorps Gård. Resan tar ca 50 minuter. Vill ni inte åka buss så erbjuder Kalmar självklart taxi!

If you don't have a car - no problem! Many guests travel by car, so please let us know if you want to carpool with others. We're happy to help match you with a wedding buddy so you can both socialize and save the planet.
Transport during the weekend
Friday's activities take place at Gård Halltorps Hage, which is within walking distance of Halltorps Gästgiveri (they are neighbours).
On Saturday (the wedding day), you will need to get to and from the church for the wedding by car. If you do not have your own car or have seats left in your cars, please contact us and we will make sure that everyone can get to and from the wedding.
